Well, on April 26, 2008 Greg Nicholls from Delta Handyman along with his Brother-in-law Todd Bellinger and hundreds of others"took it all off" to raise money and awareness for the Cancer and Blood Disorders Program at B.C. Children's Hospital.

Delta Handyman Supports Delta Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store

One of our clients at Delta Handyman recently had us clean out their garage as they prepare to sell their home and instead of just throwing everything into the dump, we ensured that items in good re-sale condition were delivered to the Delta Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store, located on Delta Street in Ladner Village.

If you are in the process of cleaning out your home and downsizing, remember to take the little bit of extra time to support our local charities as we do at Delta Handyman.

Freemasons Care Cancer Car Program - For almost two years I have been volunteering time to drive patients to and from their Cancer treatments. This is a100% volunteer program, all of the drivers, dispatchers and Day Captains volunteer a day or afternoon weekly, monthly or when they are available. It is completely funded from the generous donations made by people who are aware of this program.

Balding For Dollars - Cancer is not just something that effects some people, it touches the lives of everyone, but when Children have to deal with this terrible disease, it is even more tragic. The "Shave For The Brave" was created to develop awareness of Children with Cancer, but also to demonstrate to them that "Bald Is Beautiful" and as a result, there are thousands of people; men, women and children who shave their heads by donation to assist in funding B.C. Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau - If you or someone you know is in the need of a wheelchair, walker, crutches, or need their home outfitted for their special needs, then this is a service that could benefit them free of charge. The program is 100% volunteer and all donations go to maintaining the support devices used and at times, purchasing new or used equipment as the demand continues to increase.
